Kimberley’s Cominco Gardens, Cranbrook Rail Museum receiving $1 million tourism infrastructure investment

The BC Government is investing $50 million to enhance tourism infrastructure throughout the province, including several projects in the East Kootenay.
The City of Kimberley will be receiving $1 million for the rejuvenation of the Cominco Gardens, while the Cranbrook Archives Museum and Landmark Society will get $1 million for its Heritage Railcar Preservation Building Project.
Tourism Fernie Society will also receive $200,000 for its AmbassadorWILD and Sustainable Tourism Program Enhancement.
The largest grant provincewide is a $20 million investment into Science World in Vancouver.
