Pattison Media Ltd. is pleased to provide up to four scholarships valued at $2,500 each to deserving students enrolled in Journalism studies as of January 2025.

Pattison Media recognizes that there are significant challenges in recruiting well-trained individuals to help staff our News and Information departments. With these four scholarships, we can better equip our industry for the future.

The goal of these scholarships is to award them to underrepresented groups in the journalism industries including those who are:
• Indigenous Persons
• Persons with disabilities
• Members of visible minorities
• Women

The successful applicants will be enrolled in a qualified Journalism program in Western Canada. Distribution of the scholarships will include one (1) qualified applicant from each of the three geographic locations:
• British Columbia
• Alberta
• Saskatchewan/Manitoba

Along with one (1) qualified applicant as an all-around recipient from all applications received.

The deadline for applications is February 14th, 2025.
