Cranbrook sees more than 1,000 advance votes

Advance early voting took place on Wednesday (Oct. 7), and the City reported that 1,108 Cranbrook residents cast ballots.
In comparison, 696 voters cast ballots at the first advance poll in 2022. The second and final advance poll will be Oct. 14 at the Senior Citizens Hall.
There will also be special voting opportunities available on Oct. 16, for admitted patients and facility residents at the following locations:
- Kootenay Street Village (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.)
- Fred Scott Rotary Villa (9:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.)
- Joseph Creek Village (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
- Dr. FW Green Memorial Home (10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.)
- Kootenay Street Care Village (12:15 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.)
- East Kootenay Regional Hospital (1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
- Joseph Creek Care Village (2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
- Mountain View Village (5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.)
General voting day is Oct. 17 at Laurie Middle School Gymnasium.
