Elk Valley RCMP partnered with local elementary schools to come up with unique names for their police vehicles.
Officers and staff voted, and the winning entries were;
Brooklyn from FJ Mitchell Elementary with the name “Ghostrider”.
Nate from the homeschool community with the name “Hosmer Hornet”.
Evrhett from Rocky Mountain Elementary School with the name “Southeast Beast”.
Nahanni from Rocky Mountain Elementary School with the name “Rocky Ranger”.
Grace from Isabella Dicken Elementary School with the name “Powder Patrol”.
Eve from Fernie Academy with the name “Roadblock”.
The Elk Valley RCMP says they appreciate all the students who put forward such fantastic suggestions and look forward to doing this again next spring.
