The busy women of Cranbrook are invited to take a breather with the local Chamber of Commerce in a celebration of rest and well-being at the Prestige Rocky Mountain Resort this May.
The Cranbrook Chamber’s annual Women’s Conference is now in its sixth year and will be focusing on “Chasing Balance and Choosing Self”.
“This is a theme that resonates with women from all walks of life,” said Executive Director Stacey Brensrud. “Many of us are juggling work and family and personal lives as well. A full life is wonderful, but it can be challenging.”
Speakers include Councillor and mayoral candidate Lynnette Wray, Lana van der Velden and Drs. Greg Andreas and Lori Wik.
Attendees can expect to participate in workshops and networking opportunities, as well as enjoy food, door prizes and time with some therapy dogs from Therapeutic Paws.
The conference, held in part with Scotiabank Women Initiative, is set to run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, May 8.
