Body of missing Kimberley man found in Mark Creek

It’s the worst possible news for the family and friends of a missing Kimberley man.

RCMP in that community confirming the discovery of a man’s body in Mark Creek near the downtown core on Friday.

While not identifying the individual by name, Mounties say there’s every indication that’s it 51-year-old Jonathan Allen, missing since June 28.

In a release Monday, RCMP stated there wasn’t any criminality involved.

The BC Coroners Service has been called in to investigate the death.
