Dominant weekend for Nitros: KIJHL

The Kimberley Dynamiters are flying high after a pair of blowout wins in last weekend’s KIJHL action.

The Nitros started Friday with a 7-0 win over the Summerland Steam, they picked up a second straight shutout win Saturday when they downed the Creston Valley Thunder Cats 6-0.

The Fernie Ghostriders also had a solid weekend, they took down the Golden Rockets 5-2 Friday and beat Summerland at home Saturday 6-1.

Mixed results for the Columbia Valley Rockies on their road trip, they started Friday with a 5-2 win over the 100 Mile House Wranglers and fell 2-1 in overtime to the Kamloops Storm on Saturday.
