The Fernie Brewing Company is a local brewery first established in the Elk Valley in 2003 before moving to their existing building in 2007.

They currently offer ten different beer flavors, with at least dozen more retired over the years. These beers are sold across Western Canada and can be found in stores from BC to Manitoba.

The brewing company is also dedicated to the local community, volunteering at festivals and events and establishing a Cheers to Charity Donation program in their Tasting Room to support local charities, clubs and organizations. The Cheers to Charity Donation program has donated $203.908.58 to charitable causes since it was first established in December 2013.
