Nitros host Beaver Valley on home ice tonight

The Kimberley Dynamiters look to continue their winning ways as they play Beaver Valley Nitehawks at Kimberley Civic Centre tonight (Oct. 9).

The Nitros are coming off a 5-3 win against Quensel River Rush on Oct. 3, where head coach Derek Stuart said after the game that the team performed well on the power play and that this was one of the group’s better defensive games.

“We’re getting in a habit where we’re severely outshooting teams. We just got to start bearing down a bit more so the games aren’t as close as they are,” said Derek Stuart, Head Coach, Kimberley Dynamiters.

Stuart added that the Nitehawks’ are a good team and his group will need to sustain their speed and defence.

“They are good every year, so we’ll have a very good opponent, our toughest one to date. So we just got to carry on with that speed and physicality,” he said.

Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
