The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) is inviting the community to the official opening of the Jaffray Trail and to honour the Electoral Area B Volunteer of the Year.
The event will begin with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony and photo opportunity at the trail.
The community will meet at the trailhead adjacent to the Jaffray Pub Parking lot.
Following the ceremony, guests are invited to gather at the restaurant for a special presentation to honour Joanne Gareau’s remarkable contributions to the area.
Cake and refreshments will be served, and all are welcome to attend.
