Environment Canada has issued a weather alert for possible snow over the Okanagan Connector and Kootenay Pass.
An upper disturbance will pass over Southern B.C. tonight.
Snow levels are near 1700 metres but will rise this afternoon (June 10).
Kootenay Pass and Pennask Summit may experience some snow accumulation early this morning (June 10).
Visibility will likely be reduced at times.
Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
Allow extra time for travel, as the weather in the mountains can change suddenly, resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
