Information sessions will be held by the Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) in five electoral areas this month.
These meetings will discuss current projects and break down the 2026 budget.
Following the formal presentations, the evening will transition into an open house format, featuring a variety of stations dedicated to specific projects and services.
“In addition, some of the evenings will include a presentation to the Electoral Area Volunteers of the Year, so we are looking forward to a good turnout,” said Loree Duczek, Communications Manager, RDEK.
The meetings will begin at 7 pm, and the dates are as follows:
June 3: Electoral Area B at Jaffray Community Hall
June 9: Electoral Area G at Edgewater Community Hall (includes Volunteer of the Year presentation)
June 15: Electoral Area E at Wasa Community Hall
June 18: Electoral Area F at Windermere Community Hall (includes Volunteer of the Year presentation)
June 23: Electoral Area A at Hosmer Community Hall (includes Volunteer of the Year presentation)
