Cranbrook drivers advised of temporary lane reduction on Victoria Avenue

The City of Cranbrook is advising residents of a temporary lane reduction on Victoria Avenue.

Crews are set to be working on a manhole structure at the intersection of 6th Street North on Wednesday (Dec. 17).

The lane reduction is expected to last from 8 a.m. until mid-afternoon.

Drivers are asked to slow down, follow all signage, and exercise caution for the safety of crews on site.

The work is part of the final phase of the Victoria Avenue Sanitary Sewer Trunk Phase 1 project, undertaken over the summer.

The project replaced and upsized the trunk main along Victoria Avenue from 6th Street North to 2nd Street North to address sanitary capacity issues in the area.
