Rising Koe Wetzel Teases New Music-And It Sounds FIRE
If Koe Wetzel isn’t already on your radar, it’s time to fix that! Known for his gritty, rock-infused country sound, he’s become a major force in the genre. And if you’re a regular radio listener (we know you are, duh), you’ve definitely heard his hit “High Road” with Jessie Murph!
This week, Koe gave his fans a sneak peek at what he’s been cooking up, when he sent out a message through his fan club text line asking followers to pick their favorite track: “Which song #1–6?”
The text linked to a video titled “New Album Teaser,” featuring clips of six unreleased songs stitched together! So naturally we took a listen and they need to come out NOW.
Koe’s latest album, 9 Lives, dropped in 2024 and marked a huge milestone, earning him his first-ever #1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart with “High Road.” The Texas singer also celebrated earning 15 gold and platinum certifications from the RIAA, with standout tracks like “High Road” (3x Platinum), “Good Die Young” (Platinum), “Sweet Dreams” (Platinum), “Something to Talk About” (Platinum), and “Drunk Driving” (Platinum), among others.
He thanked fans on Instagram for supporting him throughout his journey and hinted that he’s excited to share the “next chapter” he’s been working on!
Now he just released his latest single on October 24th titled, “Werewolf’” which totally fit the vibe before Halloween.
All we need now? Koe Wetzel to finally make that trip north of the border in 2026!
And if you’re curious to know what Koe is like in person, I had the chance to chat with him this summer at Boots and Hearts. Safe to say we had a blast, take a look!
