Nominations open for 2025 Fernie Business Excellence Awards

Nominations are now open for the 2025 Fernie Business Excellence Awards, recognizing local businesses, entrepreneurs, and community groups for their contributions in the area.

The awards ceremony will be held October 16 at Cirque Restaurant and Bar.

This year’s theme, “Rooted Resilience: Growing Stronger Together,” is intended to highlight local businesses and organizations that are creating connections and supporting growth.

The awards hold multiple categories, including innovation, customer service, community contribution, and overall business excellence.

Past award winners have included companies across retail, tourism, food service, and non-profit sectors.

Residents and community members can submit nominations until August 24 at 11:59 p.m.

Following the nomination period, all nominees will be contacted to complete a form providing information for an independent judging panel, which will decide finalists and winners.

The Fernie Chamber of Commerce says the awards are an opportunity to acknowledge the dedication and achievements of those helping to make Fernie a vibrant place to live and work.
