Rock the Kootenays 2025.
Final preparations are underway for Rock the Kootenays, with the three-day music festival set to take over Western Financial Place from August 8 to 10.
To help people get to and from the event, BC Transit and the City of Cranbrook will offer free transit service on all routes from Friday through Sunday.
Three evening shuttles will run between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m., departing from Western Financial Place.
Routes include stops at Tamarack Centre and Walmart Plaza, the Southside, and Moir Park.
Wristbands and ticket pickup will take place at the venue.
Times are scheduled as follows:
- August 7: 9–11 a.m. and 4–6 p.m. (lobby)
- August 8: 9 a.m.–9 p.m. (lobby and ticket tent)
- August 9–10: 12–9 p.m. (ticket tent)
A valid photo ID is required for pickup.
VIP ticket holders have a separate entrance that opens 30 minutes before general admission.

7:15 p.m. – Streetheart
8:30 p.m. – Honeymoon Suite
Saturday, August 9
3:30 p.m. – Five Man Electrical Band
5:00 p.m. – Men Without Hats
6:40 p.m. – The Trews
8:30 p.m. – 54-40
Sunday, August 10
3:30 p.m. – Haywire
5:00 p.m. – Aaron Pritchett
6:40 p.m. – Sweet
8:30 p.m. – Colin James
A variety of food trucks will also be on site, including:

- Hungry Eh?
- Kootenay Kettlecorn
- DJ’s Mini Donuts
- Simply Siam
- Delicious Greek Food
Camping is available at Moir Park, with washrooms until 10 p.m. each night.
Parking will include a VIP lot located behind the VIP tent and designated spaces for vehicles with valid disability permits.
