Line Creek employees ratify deal with EVR

Employees at the Elk Valley Resources Line Creek operation have ratified a new five-year agreement.

While exact details weren’t shared, the contract covers 619 members with the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 115.

Line Creek Operations Manager Shane Green says he was pleased to see the two sides come to terms, calling it fair to employees.

The last remaining contract had expired on May 31st of last year.
