Cranbrook all-candidates forum, well attended

Well over 300 people were on hand at Monday night’s Kootenay-Rockies all-candidates forum at Cranbrook’s Key City Theatre.
The fourĀ names on the ballot: independent Tom Shypitka, the NDP’s Sam Atwal, Conservative Pete Davis, andĀ Kerri Wall of the Green Party, answered questions ranging from health care to the environment.
One of those to turn out at the session was Christine, who feels housing should be a top priority for whoever is chosen as the riding’s MLA…
Christine also feels health care and education are two other concerns she hopes will be addressed by whoever forms the next provincial government.
Sparwood’s Causeway Bay & Conference Centre will play host to another forum this evening for the four Kootenay-Rockies candidates.
A third session is set for the Park Place Hotel in Fernie tomorrow night.
Both begin at 7, with doors opening at 6:30.
