Aerial spray for Cranbrook, conditions permitting

Conditions permitting, there will be aerial sprays planned for later this month over the skies of Cranbrook.

The target is an invasive, damaging caterpillar, which morphs into the spongy moth.

Back-to-back aerial sprays are scheduled for May 22nd and 23rd.

As many as four more follow-up treatments could happen before the start of summer.

The product, Foray 48B, will be used, however, Ebata points out it only impacts the insect, not people or pets.
