Three Columbia Valley wildfires now classified as Being Held

The BC Wildfire Service says three major wildfires in the Columbia Valley are now classified as being held.
The three fires are the Schofield Creek wildfire east of Invermere, the Jubilee Mountain wildfire south of Golden and the Castle Mountain wildfire north of Spillimacheen.
The BC Wildfire Service says these blazes are not likely to spread beyond predetermined boundaries under current conditions.
Wildfire officials are thanking all the crews involved in fighting these blazes.
