Kimberley Search and Rescue is reminding you to be properly equipped if you plan to go for a float down any local rivers.
The SAR team says any inflatable dingy being used on rivers should be rated for swift water.
They say swift water rafts are the safest choice for venturing down the river as they are more resistant to punctures.
You should also ensure you have life jackets, throw ropes and whistles.
