Four Sparwood properties under Evacuation Alert due to Lladnar Creek wildfire

An Evacuation Alert has been issued by the District of Sparwood in response to the Lladnar Creek wildfire.

Four properties on Matevic Road are included in the alert due to wildfire threat and the potential danger to residents within the district.

The four properties are 1240 Matevic Road, 1280 Matevic Road, 1300 Matevic Road and 1400 Matevic Road.

The fire remains at 1.1 hectares in size at this time and is believed to have been caused by lightning.
