No injuries reported in garage fire on Cranbrook’s 2nd Street South

Cranbrook Fire was able to quickly respond to a structure fire on 2nd Street South Monday night.

The fire was reported by an off duty firefighter as he arrived at the fire station, leading to the very quick response.

Fire had already grown inside the detached garage and the contents were significantly impacted.

The home was not impacted by the blaze and there were no injuries reported.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
