Former Kootenay ICE defenceman Brayden McNabb now a Stanley Cup Champion

A former Kootenay ICE player is now a Stanley Cup champion.
Defenceman Brayden McNabb played for the Kootenay ICE for five seasons and was in Cranbrook from 2007 to 2011.
The WHL alumni was on the ice for Vegas in its Stanley Cup-clinching victory over the Florida Panthers Tuesday night.
McNabb played 21 games during the NHL playoffs for the Vegas Golden Knights, picking up four assists over the course of their playoff run.
The Florida Panthers also had a connection to the Kootenay ICE, with forward Sam Reinhart as part of their line-up.
Reinhart was part of the Kootenay ICE’s roster for five seasons from 2010-2015.
