Construction underway in downtown Elkford

The District of Elkford is working on finishing the first phase of their Downtown Core plan.

This includes upgrades to the area’s curb and sidewalks, water and sewer mains, street lighting and more.

You can expect traffic delays on Alpine Way, Boivin Road, and Fording Drive, and you should watch for posted signage and speed limits.

Work is scheduled to finish in late October.
