BC Conservation Foundation hiring 19 WildSafeBC Community Coordinators across province
WildSafeBC is once again experiencing a changing of the guard.
The BC Conservation Foundation has listed 19 job openings available for Community Coordinators for its WildSafeBC program.
This includes postings covering the Columbia Valley, Golden, the Elk Valley and South Country, and the Selkirk Purcell region, which includes Creston.
No job posting is listed for the position in the Cranbrook and Kimberley area at this time.
WildSafeBC’s Community Coordinator works with local Conservation Officers, Bylaw Officers, local government and indigenous communities to monitor issues around garbage being left out at night and other wildlife attractants.
They also deliver presentations to various community groups, schools and service clubs about ongoing issues with nature and wildlife in the region.
