Commemorative Griz Pins on sale in lead-up to Fernie’s Griz Days

An annual tradition of Fernie’s Griz Days is back.

The Fernie Chamber of Commerce and the city’s Rotary Club have team up once again to sell commemorative Griz Pins to celebrate this year’s event.

Pins are $3 each, with a portion of the proceeds being distributed to community groups or charities in the region.

This year, the Elk River Alliance and the Fernie Food Bank are being supported locally.

Pin holders also have a chance to win a thousand dollar cash prize, through a draw to be announced on March 8.
