Drivers locally are still dealing with winter driving conditions on major highways.
While travel advisories have been lifted for all major highways in the Elk Valley, Columbia Valley and East Kootenay, winter driving conditions are being reported throughout the entire region.
This includes freezing rain in some areas, along with slippery sections and compact snow.
The Ministry of Transportation previously told drivers to consider alternate plans due to extreme winter conditions over the last few days.
